Tilson Announces New Appointments
Greenwood-based Tilson has promoted Cara Christie to director of operations of the Payroll and Benefits Departments.  The company has also hired Kathy Haab as payroll manager.

GREENWOOD, Ind.  (July 24, 2015) – Tilson has named Cara Christie as the new Director of Operations of the Payroll and Benefits Departments. Christie is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through the Human Certification Institute and will be in charge of overseeing all operations of both departments.

Prior to accepting the position as director of operations, Christie was the benefits manager for two years, an account manager for two years and a benefit specialist with Tilson for three years. Before joining Tilson, Christie’s previous human resource experience includes five years in employee benefits in the financial, manufacturing and healthcare industries as well as two years in recruiting.

“We were very excited when Cara decided to stay with Tilson by accepting the position of Director of Operations,” said Dawn Lively, Director of Client Services. “She is a very valuable employee and has offered a lot to our team since she joined seven years ago.”
Christie holds a bachelor of science in agricultural economics from Purdue University and is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management.

Tilson has named Kathy Haab as payroll manager. Haab is responsible for management of the payroll staff, quality control and daily operations of the payroll department.

Prior to joining Tilson, Haab developed a diverse financial services background including 11 years at the Internal Revenue Service. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in public affairs from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).
