Erik Young brings efficiency expertise to fast-growing firm
INDIANAPOLIS (February 11, 2015) — Tilson has named Erik Young as chief operating officer. Steeped in business strategy and lean production, Young will be in charge of daily operations and help oversee infrastructure enhancements to support rapid growth.
“Erik’s experience in high-growth companies comes at an exciting time for us,” said Brent Tilson, president and CEO of Tilson. “Tilson now operates in 48 states, with a second office in Phoenix. Erik will help us streamline operations and services and prepare us for even further growth.”
Before joining Tilson, Young was strategy and lean officer at Activate Healthcare, a private equity-funded start-up that manages on-site physician offices in business locations. He also co-founded Young at Heart LLC in 2004, a health-care services company that started two long-term care pharmacies, and worked at Ariba/SAP as global operations leader and director of services commercialization. In addition, he held strategy and management positions at Accenture and Procter & Gamble. He earned a B.S. in finance from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Dartmouth College, where he served as class president.
“PEOs are experiencing unprecedented growth, and Tilson is leading the way,” Young said. “I’m honored and excited to be part of this dynamic company and to help contribute to its continuing success.”
