President & CEO

With a background as a CPA, Brent founded Tilson in 1995 when he saw a need for wider management solutions, and today he leads the company, charting its growth and development. He also is the immediate former chairman of the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations, the largest trade association for PEOs in the country.

Cara Christie, PHR

Director of Operations

Cara oversees the Payroll and Benefits Departments at Tilson. Prior to accepting the position as Director of Operations, Cara was Benefits Manager for two years, Account Manager for two years and Benefits Specialist for three years. Cara’s previous human resource experience includes five years in employee benefits in the financial, manufacturing, and health care industries as well as two years in recruiting.

John Bush

Director of IT Development

John serves as lead adviser for technology and plays the principal role in the design, development and support for new technology-based solutions for the company. Prior to joining Tilson in 2007, John worked for six years for a fully insured insurance carrier as manager of expert systems development. He and the staff under his management are responsible for creating multiple internal applications and data conversion/translation systems.

Julie Reynolds-Long


Julie is the Controller for Tilson HR, Inc., overseeing the Finance department functions.  She has been with Tilson HR since August 2014.  Julie has over 25 years of Accounting experience including Accounting Manager for small businesses and experience preparing various types of tax returns. Julie has performed consulting services in areas such as QuickBooks for Small businesses and Accounting Management.

Kimberly Hollis

Senior Director of Business Solutions

Kim oversees sales, marketing, IT and vendor relationships. She manages clients in the initial implementation and communication process and coordinates renewals for benefits outside of Tilson. She is Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) certified through the National Association of Health Underwriters.

Rob Glass

Senior Director of IT Systems and Infrastructure

Rob is responsible for managing the technology and support groups that Tilson uses to serve our clients. Computer infrastructure design and support, database design and management and customer software development are skills that Rob adds to the Tilson management team.  Prior to joining Tilson, Rob was an owner of an IT consulting company for more than 20 years.  Rob holds both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.

Scott Hall

Senior VP of Business Development

Scott joined the Tilson team as VP of Sales in November 2014 and moved to his current role in April of 2015.  He is responsible leading the sales efforts at Tilson and designing an enjoyable and efficient client experience.

Scott Ingram

Director of Client Services

Scott is responsible for overseeing client service satisfaction, retention and ongoing daily operations of the Account Management function at Tilson.  He has over 20 years of experience working in the Human Resources arena from both a direct sales and account management perspective.  Scott actively purses licensing and training to consistently advance his HR knowledge.  He is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through the Human Resources Certification Institute.


Annelisa Jamison

Director of Quality Assurance

Annelisa is responsible for auditing processes and ensuring operational excellence.  Her expertise in processes, taxes and accounting is an integral contribution to the new client onboarding team.  Annelisa has been with Tilson since 2000 and has over 20 years of experience in the accounting filed in various industries.

Christie Haywood

Payroll Manager

Christie Haywood is a Payroll Manager at Tilson HR where she is responsible for the overall operations of the payroll department.   She joined Tilson HR in March 2016.  Christie brings experience in working many facets of human resources employee data administration, benefit administration, leave management, compliance, payroll and implementations.  Prior to joining Tilson HR Christie has over 20 years of experience processing for large organizations within the Indianapolis and St. Louis areas.  Christie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Lewanda Dunlap

Sales & Agency Support Manager

Lewanda is responsible for overseeing insurance functions and simultaneously assists business development via activities and projects for sales and marketing of Tilson services. She joined Tilson in September 2007. Lewanda has over 17 years of experience in the insurance industry and holds a Life and Health insurance broker’s license in the state of Indiana.

Steve Johnson, SPHR

VP, Western Region

Steve has been with Tilson since 2006 and has more than 15 years of experience in the human resource outsourcing industry. His background includes providing proactive solutions for businesses and their employees combined with responsive customer service. Steve is accredited as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and holds a current license for Life, Accident and Health Insurance.

Tim O’Malley, SPHR

Human Resource Manager

Tim’s primary responsibility is to manage human resource support for all Tilson clients. He joined Tilson as Account Manager in June 2008 and served as Human Resource Specialist before being named Human Resource Manager. Tim has experience in all facets of human resources with concentrations in employee relations, compliance, recruiting/retention and benefits administration. He has worked in manufacturing/distribution, corporate wellness and mass media industries, garnering more than 15 years of professional experience in progressive HR generalist roles.


Chad Collier

VP of Sales

Chad is the vice president of sales and joined Tilson in 2010. He has more than 17 years of combined experience in the commercial real estate, health insurance and PEO industries. His primary responsibility is to increase market share by cultivating long-term relationships with existing and future clients. Chad has been licensed in health, life and accident insurance in the state of Indiana since 2009 and served in the United States Air Force.

Erin Houchin

Business Development Manager

Erin joined the Tilson sales team in July as a business development manager. She is responsible for growing the Tilson client base alongside the sales team members. Serving as a state senator for District 47, Erin brings a wealth of experience in attention and devotion to the needs of those she serves. She has a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and a master’s degree from The George Washington University.

Kevin Pingsterhaus

Sales Specialist

Kevin is a sales specialist and joined the sales team in 2015. He has extensive experience in sales and management; including life insurance sales, business technology and IT solutions, B2B staffing, and branch management assistant for sales and customer service representative.

Leslie Myrick

Business Development Manager

Leslie is a business development manager and joined the Tilson team in 2016. She is responsible for growing clients alongside the Tilson sales team. Leslie has a combined 15 years of experience in the sales and marketing industries, including her latest position within the payroll industry. She has a bachelor’s degree from Franklin College.
